New Plastic For The Horus Heresy: Two Battle Groups Land At Once
Legiones Astartes and Legio Custodes players both got a serious upgrade this week. The Maximus Battle Group brings MkIV "Maximus" power armour to plastic for the first time in the Horus Heresy range, while the Custodes Support Battle Group is the first box ever stamped with both the Warhammer 40,000 and Horus Heresy logos, meaning its contents are legal in either game.
Maximus Battle Group: 32 miniatures, 20 Tactical Legionaries, 10 Assault Legionaries, a Contemptor Dreadnought, and a Sicaran Battle Tank, retailing at $220. Custodes Support Battle Group: a plastic Telemon Heavy Dreadnought, four Gyrfalcon Jetbikes, and a Pallas Grav-attack, cutting the old resin tax on all three units.

Necromunda's New Skirmish Edition Opens For Pre-Order
Necromunda is getting a new entry point. A new "Skirmish" edition boxed set has gone up for pre-order, aimed at giving the gang-warfare game a fresh, more accessible starting point in the underhive.
Full contents and pricing weren't fully detailed at the time of writing, but a boxed-set relaunch of this size usually means new miniatures, new terrain, and a wave of players building gangs from scratch.

Nazdreg Gets His First New Model In Almost 30 Years
One of the Orks' oldest named characters finally gets a modern makeover. Games Workshop revealed that Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub, the Bad Moons Ork Warlord, is getting his first new tabletop miniature in almost three decades.
Nazdreg has been a background fixture of Ork lore for years without ever getting a model to match, this reveal brings one of the faction's most talked-about characters into the current range.
