Ogor Mawtribes Get Their Biggest Update Yet
Seven new kits, one new Tyrant, and the biggest Mawtribes refresh in years. Games Workshop's new "Ogor Mawtribes Army Set" goes up for pre-order on July 18th, including a new Tyrant, Gluttons, Ironguts, and Redd the Maw with his Gorger riding into battle beside him. For an army already known for chunky, character-heavy units, this wave adds even more centerpiece models worth protecting properly.

Warhammer 40,000: The Road to 11th Edition Gets Clearer
The Orks lead the charge into 11th edition – and army building is getting more flexible. Games Workshop has sharpened the launch plan for 11th edition, and the Orks codex leads the new era as the first full army book of the new edition, arriving with new starter sets and fresh campaign material. Detachments are also changing: armies will be able to combine multiple detachments for more bespoke army-building.

Star Wars: Legion – New Pre-Orders Are Live
The droid army gets a heavier hitter. New units for Star Wars: Legion are now available for pre-order, including the B2 Super Battle Droids – a heavier, harder-hitting addition to the droid roster. Legion has kept a steady release cadence this year, and each new unit tends to bring its own base size and silhouette, which is exactly the kind of variety that makes off-the-shelf storage frustrating.

👁 On Our Radar: 2026 Spiel des Jahres Winners Announced
Three big wins – and at least one is a storage headache waiting to happen. The jury has decided: "Dito!" takes Spiel des Jahres 2026, "Rebirth" wins Kennerspiel, and "Die Insel der Mookies" wins Kinderspiel. Kennerspiel winners in particular tend to bring a lot of components to the table, and Rebirth is no exception.

👁 On Our Radar: New Lord of the Rings Project Announced
Middle-earth gets another contender. A new "The Lord of the Rings: Ascension" has been announced as an upcoming crowdfunding project, joining an already crowded field of Middle-earth games this year. It's too early to say what the component count or box size will look like, but Middle-earth titles have historically been some of our most requested organizers.

👁 On Our Radar: Berlin Con 2026 Has Wrapped
Home turf, 33 new releases, and a good sign for the local scene. Berlin Con took place July 10–12, showcasing 33 new summer releases alongside two full days of open gaming and publisher demos right here in our home city.
