Codex: Space Marines Reveals Its First Detachments

The next Codex is shaping up to be one of the biggest rules updates Space Marines have seen in years.

Games Workshop pulled back the curtain on 15 new detachments for the upcoming Codex: Space Marines, split into doctrine-focused, armour-specific, and unit-specific groups. Roboute Guilliman headlines the datasheet previews, able to run every Combat Doctrine at once and hand doctrine bonuses to units nearby — while Terminators pick up tougher armour and a nasty new anti-vehicle chainfist profile. Blood Angels, Black Templars, Dark Angels, Deathwatch, and Space Wolves all get interim rules to tide them over before their own codexes land.

Sons of Behemat Battletome Brings Mega-Gargants Back Bigger Than Ever

The new Sons of Behemat battletome is one of the biggest identity reworks Age of Sigmar has seen in a while.

Pre-orders opened this weekend for the full Sons of Behemat range: a new battletome (standard and Gamer's Edition), Ma Maegran Chooser of the Mighty, the alt-build Boss-Stompers, and a full Stomper Tribe box. Mega-Gargants get reworked stats and two selectable attack profiles — a crushing high-damage swing or a sweeping multi-hit attack — plus new battle traits, formations, and artefacts. Alongside it, Games Workshop launched Brawlers of Behemat, a standalone boxed game pairing two Mega-Gargant kits with Embergard ruins terrain.

A New Duardin Faction Leaks Ahead of Friday's Big Autumn Preview

Games Workshop accidentally revealed a brand-new Duardin faction just days before its own big reveal stream.

Miniature images for "Khazalite Holds" briefly appeared on the GW webstore before the page was pulled — showing rune-shield footsoldiers and golem-like constructs wielding greathammers, distinct from existing Kharadron Overlords or Fyreslayers. Games Workshop hasn't commented officially, but the leak lines up with Friday's Big Autumn Warhammer Preview, which is already confirmed to include a new 40K codex reveal, a new Kill Team box, Old World miniatures, and a new Blood Bowl team.

• Leaked faction name: "Khazalite Holds"
• Shows rune-shield infantry and golem-style constructs with greathammers

Star Wars: Legion Adds Six New Pre-Orders

Legion players get a fresh wave of pre-orders spanning both sides of the galactic conflict.

Six new kits went up for pre-order this week: the Raddaugh Gnasp Fluttercraft (Wookiee support), Swoop Bike Riders, the NR-N99 Persuader Droid (a heavy Separatist unit), Pyke Syndicate Foot Soldiers, a Scoundrel Han & Chewie operative pack, and a Jedi General on BARC Speeder with Obi-Wan, Anakin, or generic rider options. Most are repacks of existing sculpts, but they round out several factions with fresh availability.
