Ce plateau en mousse pour Warhammer 40000 : Forbidden Stars comporte 30 compartiments. 1 grand compartiment carré est réservé aux System-Tiles, aux jetons Warp-Storm et au marqueur rond. 28 compartiments découpés sur mesure accueilleront diverses miniatures des 4 factions et bâtiments. Un compartiment supplémentaire permet de ranger les supports.
Le plateau a les dimensions suivantes : 285 mm x 285 mm x 50 mm. Il s'insère donc parfaitement dans la boîte de jeu de plateau d'origine. Comme le plateau est livré avec une base de 10 mm, la hauteur utile effective des compartiments est : 50 mm - 10 mm = 40 mm
