Blood Bowl: One Tray per Team
Oct 28, 2026
Blood Bowl teams are small, painted with love, and spend half the match getting knocked over. Here's how they travel to league night: magnetized, one team per tray, and several teams in one case.

Why Blood Bowl and Magnets Get Along
A Blood Bowl roster is the right size for a Half-Size magnetic case.
A team has up to 16 players on its roster, 11 of them on the pitch at a time. Most stand on 32mm bases. Big guys like Ogres, Trolls, and Minotaurs use 40mm, the small ones like Snotlings and Gnoblars 25mm. Few base sizes, a manageable number of models – exactly what a steel tray likes.
Blood Bowl players come in dynamic poses: thin arms, raised balls, spiky shoulder pads. On a magnetic tray, only the base touches anything, and players can stand close together even when an arm reaches over the neighboring base.

One Team, One Tray
A full roster fits on a single tray. The case holds several of them.
Each steel tray measures 266 x 145.5 mm. 16 players on 32mm bases take up 2 rows of 8 – and there's still room for a third row with the big guys on 40mm. Magnets keep every model exactly where you put it, so the players can stand base to base.
That makes the math simple: one tray per team, and the case takes as many trays as your tallest players allow. The 2 included trays already cover your team and your opponent's, and trays are sold individually:
- Tray 1: your main team, big guys included
- Tray 2: a second team – or the one your opponent forgot at home
- Further trays: more teams for league season, Star Players, and inducements
For a tournament or a league night with friends, that means one case instead of a stack of boxes.

Tall Models, Offset Trays
Your tallest model doesn't have to set the height for the whole case.
The trays can sit at different slot heights on the left and right. That gives one side of the tray extra clearance, while the rest of the case stays compact. And because there are 7 slots, you decide the spacing yourself: leave a slot empty above the tall models, use every slot for the short ones.
For Blood Bowl that means: Goblins and Halflings ride close together, a Treeman gets his own headroom.

Match Day: From Bag to Pitch
Open the case, pull the tray, set up.
The lock switch with color indicator shows at a glance whether the trays are secured. Non-slip pads keep the case in place when you pull a tray out, which helps on a crowded league table. During the match, the loaded tray doubles as your dugout: players who aren't on the pitch simply stay on the steel until you need them.
One more thing in favor of your paint jobs: under the Third Season Edition rules (released November 2025), Prone and Stunned players can be marked with tokens instead of being laid down on the pitch.
With the MINI PLUS set, the inner zip pocket takes your team roster, tokens, and Block dice.

What You Need
- Feldherr Miniature Transport Case HSVR7150 in black or red, with 2 steel trays included

Case dimensions: 175 x 280 x 150 mm. Usable interior: 250 mm high x 162 mm wide x 150 mm deep. Steel trays: 266 x 145.5 x 11 mm, 7 slots.
A common approach: glue a small neodymium disc magnet into the hollow underside of the base. Skill rings and base colors stay untouched.
