The PanoramaRest (PanoramaLiege) is a foam insert measuring 560 × 360 mm designed specifically for open, flat Auer Euro containers in the 60 × 40 cm format. It is purpose-built to store and display gauge 00 (OO) scale model trains — including locomotives and wagons with taller superstructures — safely and in an organized manner. The insert features 5 angled divider rests that create a panoramic viewing effect when looking into the box.

This allows the user to add 5 mm thick side pads to cushion and protect the interior walls of the container, providing a fully padded storage environment for valuable models. The five rests run the full 560 mm length of the insert, providing consistent support across the entire width of each stored item.

The angled rest design serves a dual purpose: it keeps models stable and prevents rolling or shifting during storage or transport, while also creating a visually appealing panoramic display effect when the container is opened. The compartment geometry specifically accounts for the additional height of locomotive cabs, pantographs, and wagon superstructures, ensuring that even tall gauge 00 (OO) models can be lifted out without catching or tipping.
